FTSEalerts.com – Dedicated to Day Trading the FTSE 100
Whether you are looking to trade the FTSE as a hobby or as a profession, spread betting and more specifically day trading represents genuine opportunity. This site documents my trading background with a series of daily blogs, historic performance, news reports, influential articles, as well as trading tools such as the Economic Calendar, all of which I hope you find useful and thought provoking.
In addition I offer daily trading analysis sent via email every morning and an SMS text alert service informing you of my trades in real time, as I make them. For details on how to register, please click here. You can also view my trading history performance by clicking here.
With the right system you can make money trading. FTSE day trading is high risk as ultimately you are trading on margin, however this can be a relatively safe exercise if you have a clear risk management structure with strict trading parameters in place i.e. trade within your limits, use stop loss orders, understand your trade rationale and define your financial goals and objectives.
Please feel free to browse the site and read my daily blog posts below, as there’s plenty of information for both novice and more experienced traders.
If you have any questions please email me at info@FTSEalerts.com and I will always endeavour to try and help.
For trading, I recommend using IG Index www.igindex.co.uk – and always start out with a demo account until you feel comfortable with trading real money!
